Fall has arrived in Sunny San Diego

Fall is here and that means boot season!!
Theses boots are from Zara.
I'm sure you have seen me wear these boots plenty of times before.
They are one of my favorites and they're comfy!
This was my casual outfit over the weekend.
My coated jeans help make my outfit look edgy and fun.
Red always makes everything look fabulous!
My top is from Zara, I love how it's sheer in the middle. It reminds me of Alexander Wang, without having to break my bank account!
Have a wonderful day!

Jacket: Forever 21
Coated jeans:Zara

E is for Ellie

This past weekend I went to LA, I ended up spending most of my time in La Brea.
I had so much fun shopping and looking at all the cute boutiques.

The weather this weekend was beautiful!!
I couldn't decide between wearing a pair of shorts or a skirt, so I wore a skort. Best of both worlds! Every time I wear this skort from Zara I receive a lot of compliments. It was definitely a great buy!
What I'm Wearing:
Blouse: H&M
Skort: Zara
Sneakers: Converse
Glasses: Celine

White after Labor Day

Wearing white after labor day doesn't sound like a bad idea, especially in this hot weather. I'm sure Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would approve of my white on white look, too bad I didn't keep it simple with black.
I added my utility vest and leopard heels to my white on white outfit. This vest is one of my favorite items I own. It's easy to layer and I like the military inspired looks. The leopard heels is just something I threw on. Like I've said before, leopard is a must have!!
What I'm Wearing:
Utility Vest: Zara
White Tee: Gap
White Jeans: Forever 21
Leopard heels: Nine West

Borrowed From The Boys

Happy Friday!!
The weather is still hot and humid here in San Diego. I have been living near the A/C lately! Getting ready has been a pain, I have been letting my hair air dry lately. The thought of being near a blow dryer is out of the question.
Here I'm wearing my Zara tee and shorts from Gap. These shorts are super comfortable and a bit tom boyish. I of course I added leopard to this outfit (I'm kind of on a leopard kick).
What I'm Wearing:
Tee: Zara, $16
Shorts: Gap, $14 (on sale)
Necklace: Forever 21
Heels: Nine West, $43 (on sale)

I Sea Blue

This past weekend I went to Raging Waters in San Dimas California for a friend’s birthday. San Dimas is about 2 hours away from San Diego; it was a bit of a drive. When we got there it was super crowded!! The wait was an hour long per ride. We ended our water park adventure at Buffalo Wild Wings, that place has such amazing wings. Just thinking about it puts a smile to my face =)

I wore this outfit to work. I bought these white pants from Forever 21 about 3 years ago. Many people don’t shop at Forever 21 because they believe the quality won’t last. Yes, the quality isn’t the best, BUT it all depends on how you take care of your clothing. I paired these pants with my royal blue top that I bought at my recent trip to New York at Necessary Clothing in Soho.

Also, if any of you live in San Diego or are a San Diego Blogger. Tease Boutique is having a Jeffrey Campbell launch party Thursday, July 19th. They are also having a huge denim sale that day. You should stop by and check it out between 7-9pm. I'll be there =) The store is located at 435 Island Ave at Gaslamp

What I'm Wearing:
Royal Blue Top: Necessary Clothing, $14
White pants: Forever 21, (similar)
Booties: Zara (here)
Bag: Aldo, $40

Pink Tribal Denim

I'm really liking these tribal print shorts from Sugarlips. I decided to pair these shorts with my white tee and my denim top. These shorts are amazing for summer. Sugarlips has some of the cutest items at a reasonable price. I'm all about finding good deals =) These shorts would also look amazing with converse or a pair sandals. Shoes can definitely change a mood of an outfit, it just all depends on how you feel. I hope you all are enjoying your summer, I just wish summer would slow down a bit. It's going by too fast!!

What I'm Wearing:
Denim Top: Forever 21, $24
White Tee: Gap, $8
Tribal Print Shorts: Sugarlips (here)
Clutch: Aldo, $43
Chunky Heels: Asos, $100

Sequin and Converse

In December, a friend of mine bought this sequin cardigan at Forever 21. After she bought it I couldn't stop thinking about it! I didn't want to buy it, I hesitated because I don't like having the same items as my friends only because when you accidentally wear it in the same time its a nightmare! Anyways, I waited and never bought it. Well, two weeks ago I was restless and couldn't go to bed, I was up all night. I decided to go online shopping and when I did I saw the cardigan! It was now on sale!! The fact I could picture 3 different ways of wearing it right away, I knew I had to buy it. I felt so guilty, but then I realized that the beauty of fashion is wearing an item your way,  that's what makes fashion original. I just don't plan on wearing it around my girl, I would hate for us to be sequin twins LOL.

What do you think? Do you like owning the same items as your friends?

What I'm Wearing:

T-Shirt: Gap, $8 (sale)
Sequin Cardigan: Forever 21, $18
Jeans: Joe's Jeans, $79
Converse, $43
Bag: Nordstrom (B.P), Gift

How gorgeous is the dress by Kendall K?  Kendall K is a local San Diego designer. Her Spring 2012 collection was inspired by her recent trip to Costa Rica. I wore this dress with my Asos heels and added a simple belt to complement my curves. I didn't over accessorize this day, I didn't want to take the attention away from the detailing of the dress. This is a great summer dress, I really like the pockets.

I seriously adore her whole Spring 2012 collection! One of my favorite pieces is this dress that I'm wearing and the Lola maxi dress (here). If you check out her stuff and like any items, I have amazing news!!! Kendall K is giving my readers a $40 dollar discount on her latest Spring 2012 designs. Go to the Kendall K website and start shopping for your latest Spring Trends. When you checkout just type in Spring12.

Romper and Fringe

This weekend I went to the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival with my sister and my good friend Rhiannon. A glass of wine and girl time is a guaranteed great time if you ask me. We just tasted wine and ate yummy food. My friend Rhiannon and I killed a bag of Kettle Corn within minutes. Kettle Corn is da bomb!! It is a great combination of something salty and sweet.

Also, today I was featured on Little Miss Twiggy's Blog, check it out! The interview is a great way to get to know me a little more:)

Black Coated Legging Jeans

I bought these amazing black coated legging jeans from bloomingdale's on sale for $53 from $168. I'm a curvy girl so having a good pair of black pants is important. I wore this outfit to work then later school. I added the sandals to this outfit to give it a casual look. Funny story, these are the only pair sandals I own at this moment. Every time I go on vacation I break at least two pairs of sandals!! Looks like this San Diegan is in desperate need for a new pair of sandals.

Neutral colored top: Foreign Exchange, $20
Black coated legging jeans: Bloomingdale's, $53
Cobalt blue bag: Nordstrom B.P, gift
Sandals: Naughty Monkey, $34

The Month Of May

I bought this vest at a thrift store a couple years ago, it was $4. I really like to wear military influenced pieces, such as this vest and my everyday utility jacket. The military look is always in style no matter what. The main colors when having to do with the military inspired pieces are mostly neutrals. Neutral colors look amazing on everyone and match everything. I wore this to work, then later to dinner with a friend. Its a casual everyday outfit. You can never go wrong with a good pair of jeans and sassy heels.

Yesterday I interviewed a local San Diego designer Kendall K. Her Spring Collection is amazing! Her collection reminds me of  beautiful summer days in California. I can't wait to post her interview on my blog later this month. If you get a chance, check out her collection Kendall K Spring 2012.
