Plaid and Leather

Off to work I go!!
Who says dressing in work clothes can't be fun?
I always try to have fun with my wardrobe no matter where I go. Dressing for work can be a bit boring. But with all these amazing trends going on and accessories, work clothes can also be fun. For example, a leather pencil skirt like the one I'm wearing here, is a great addition to any work wardrobe. I added plaid to give my look that effortless style I love. I always try to mix my everyday clothing with my work clothing, that way I can get more for my buck.

What I'm Wearing:
Plaid Top: Forever 21 similar one (here)
Pencil Skirt: Forever 21 (here)
Pumps: Christian Louboutin (here)

How do you make your work outfits fun?

Forest Green and Leather

I know Fashion Night Out was September 6th, but I never got a chance to show you all what I wore that night. I wasn't able to blog during the event because I was working. But I did post a few pictures on my instagram.

Forest Green and leather are the top two biggest trends for Fall. Forest Green also known as Hunter Green is my favorite color. I like the way the color looks against my Ombre. I kept this look simple with all black and leopard wedges.

What I'm Wearing:
Leather Sleeve Jacket: Piperlime, $89
Black Tank: H&M, $5
Black Pants: Gap, $60
Leopard Wedges: Zara, $159

Sin City Yellow

I was in Las Vegas this past weekend with my boyfriend and some of my friends. I wore this outfit on my last night in Vegas. My honey and I stayed an extra night. We went to this sushi place called Shibuya at the MGM for dinner, then ended the night with some gelato and the water show at the Bellagio.

Now about my outfit, how cute is this yellow top? I really like the back of the shirt, I love how it's long. I bought it at Tease Boutique, a local store here in San Diego. They have the cutest stuff!! I love buying stuff that I know I will be wearing more than once. Yellow is such a great color for summer, especially if you have a J.LO tan going on:) I wore the top from Tease with my faux leather shorts from H&M and my Zara sandals. Make sure to check out the Tease Boutique website for some of the hottest brands and latest trends:)

What I'm Wearing:
Yellow Top: Tease Boutique, $26
Leather Shorts: H&M, $15
Clutch: Accesorize: $63
Sandals: Zara, (Gift)

Hard Rock Fashion Show

Over the weekend I attended a fashion show here in San Diego with Paulina from Pau's lil bits of Chic, some friends and my sister. It was hosted by San Diego Magazine. San Diego is moving up in the fashion game, especially since Fashion Week San Diego is coming in October 2012!! Super excited for that btw:) The Hard Rock Fashion Show previewed designers such as Betsey Johnson. The models were gorgeous, it made me want to give up food (I say this while eating and stuffing my face) LOL.

I put this outfit together last minute before leaving my house. I wasn't feeling my wardrobe this day. Everything I put on I felt as if the clothes were wearing me vs me wearing the clothes!! So I figured leather shorts, stripes and my utility jacket would be a good combo. I added my sequin clutch to the mix to add a different pattern and texture. How about you ladies, do you ever have days when you feel as if you have nothing to wear?

What I'm Wearing:
Utility Jacket: Forever 21, $34
Striped Top: Forever 21 (old)
Faux Leather Shorts: H&M, $15
Shoes: Zara, $90 (Gift from my sister)
Clutch: Accesorize, $60
